An eye for nature
‘Love what you do’ is what I always say! I am one of the lucky few who are able to do that every day. Inspired at every turn I am drawn to natural shapes, clean lines, simple forms and texture. I pay attention to what makes me happy and go from there. The result is a body of work that is beautifully bold and classically simple with a modern and playful twist.
Career beginnings
A graduate of the Jewellery Arts program at George Brown College, I began my career at Toronto’s Made You Look Jewellery Studio and Gallery designing exceptional pieces for clients nearly a decade ago. For the past 4 years I have continued to do what I love along side my best friend and jewellery cohort, Suzanne Crudden, in our boutique & studio flux + form.
Trained to work with almost every material and request imaginable I create wearable works of art using platinum, gold and silver incorporating gemstones, found objects and re-cycled materials. I love being able to re-use precious materials and find the pocess very rewarding. I call it Re-Jewel.
In the media
I make everything from custom made engagement & wedding rings to silver wire chokers, cuffs and bangles to elaborate re-production pieces for films. I have been fortunate enough to have been featured in commercials, television and print as well as films like Against the Ropes with Meg Ryan and The Perfect Man with Hilary Duff.
